A pregnant woman and her two-year-old daughter suffered injuries in a two-vehicle car accident, in Lincoln, at the intersection of Clinton and Hamilton Street.

The Mom, 25, was being treated in the emergency room at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield while her daughter was being treated and released. Police believe the mother was taken to St. John’s as a precatuion, because she is two months pregnant.

She was driving east on Clinton Street in her Kia Sportage, when she missed a stop sign and crashed with a 43-year-old man that was headed south on Hamilton Street in his Tahoe.

The Tahoe crashed into the driver side of the Sportage, flipping it on it’s top near the grass on the east side of the road. The 2-year-old was ejected from the vehicle. Police believe the girl may have undone her seatbelt, after her Mother had fastened her in the car. Thankfully the girl seems to be okay and responosive.
